Are you at the initial vCM login screen -- page 13 of the manual?
It looks like we need to take a look at that one. As a temporary workaround, launch the Powershell icon and type
Restart-Computer -ComputerName vcm-w8-01a.corp.local
Give it a couple of minutes to reboot, then try to log in to vCM again.
