Hi JSA
Thank you for the questions...
What is your DHCP server, and have you rebooted it recently?
At home I have rebooted my network, at work I do not have that chance, the outcome is the same on both networks. XP is fine and Win7 & 8 will not connect to the network
Did you clone this VM, and is it running already in another session?
No, neither VM has been cloned or came from a clone. I have tried to build a new VM as well, these also result in a VM that will not connect to the network
Have you tried editing the VM, selecting the Network Adaptor, then click advance and changing (or re-generating) the MAC address to force your DHCP server to issue you a different IP?
Yes, I have tried to select the network, regenerated the MAC address
Did you accidentally configure the NIC to use a manually assigned IP address?
Good, question... No, the NIC is not manually set
