I have 2 EXSI 5.1 servers with vcenter. I shutdown and added drives to the raid card on one of them. When I brought it back up it could not connect to it's NFS datastore and it could not be connected to from the vCenter server.
I tried adding the NFS store to the host and adding the host back to vCenter but I got an error that the item already exists even thought it is not showing in any lists that I can see. I did remove the host from vCenter. The second host can still connect to the NFS and is being managed via vCenter as always.
Is the hardware config part of the security verification? How do I reset that? Should I call support? Can I call support? I have vSphere essentials with support. How much is an incident?
I was able to bring the one VM on the NFS datastore up on my second server so I don't have an emergency but I need to get this fixed before I do have an emergency.
